About NCSC-DA Kanpur

The centre is located inside the National Skill Training Institute Kanpur campus.
The main goal of NCSC-DA Kanpur is to help people with disabilities become economically independent by: Evaluating their skills and abilities Providing career counselling
Giving vocational training, Helping with job placement or self-employment Organizing job fairs, camps, and awareness programs
The centre provides non-formal vocational training in many trades such as:
Computer applications
Dress making
Knitting and embroidery
Consumer electronics
Carpentry
Computer hardware maintenance
General mechanic
During training, trainees may receive a monthly stipend of about βΉ2500 through government support.
